Gerard Puccio, PhD

Partner, founding author and originator of the FourSight theory, Gerard has dedicated his career to brining the best of creativity theory to the rest of us.
Gerard J. Puccio is the department chair and professor at the International Center for Studies in Creativity, Buffalo State, a unique academic department that offers the world’s only MS degree in creativity. In addition to creating the FourSight measure, Gerard has written more than fifty articles, chapters, and books. Along with his colleagues Marie Mance and Mary Murdock, he recently completed the second edition of a book titled Creative Leadership: Skills That Drive Change (2011). In recognition of his outstanding work as a scholar, Gerard received the State University of New York Chancellor’s Recognition Award for Research Excellence and the President’s Medal for Scholarship and Creativity. Gerard is an accomplished speaker, trainer, and consultant; he has worked with major corporations, universities, and numerous school districts in the United States and around the world. Some of the organizations Gerard has worked with recently include the British Broadcast Company (BBC), Paribas, Fisher-Price Brands, Rich Products, and Siemens. Gerard holds a PhD in organizational psychology from the University of Manchester, England.

Sarah Thurber

Sarah is managing partner of FourSight, LLC. While her job is to run the business, her passion is crafting smart products that reflect the essence of what FourSight is about — creativity.
Sarah to brings to FourSight a rich background in writing, editing and graphic design. Her work as the president of THinc Communications has taken her on assignment to China, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy. She has written for corporations and nonprofits. She has edited both city and state magazines. She was lead editor of the launch of PLUS, a magazine for people living with AIDS. She designed and edited two textbooks used by the International Center for Studies in Creativity. She lives in Evanston with her husband and three kids, not to mention the dog, the lizard, and the snail. She is currently working on her masters of science in, what else, creativity.

Blair Miller
|
Blair Miller, partner and publisher of FourSight, travels the globe helping organizations build problem-solving capability, enrich creative climate and foster ideas and collaborative solutions.
As the co-developer of the FourSight instrument and product line, Blair has brought to FourSight his vast experience delivering creativity and problem-solving training to organizations. As president of his own Chicago-based consulting firm, Blair Miller & Associates, he has developed a unique method of helping organizations like Deloitte & Touche, DuPont, Intel, Invesco, Mars, Monsanto, Motts, Kodak, Kraft, Pfizer and Xerox deliver on their innovation goals. By leveraging insights from organizational assessments he is able to customize programs that give organizations access to new language, new processes, new tools and new outcomes. In the last ten years, he pioneered the fusion of creative problem solving techniques with traditional cost optimization methods, helping his clients deliver in excess of $1.3 billion in savings.
Blair has co-authored numerous books and publications, which has been used by graduate programs in creativity and translated into Spanish, French and Japanese. Blair also serves as Adjunct Professor of Creativity and Change Leadership in the Department of Creative Studies at SUNY Buffalo and is a guest instructor at MBA programs at Northwestern University, Emory and the University of Chicago. The Creative Education Foundation (CEF) recently honored him with the Distinguished Leadership Award, noting his leadership in the development of FourSight and creative leaders in the field. Blair’s gift for working with teams has been seasoned by earlier careers as a classroom teacher and an Outward Bound instructor. His formal training including a Master of Science degree in Creativity and Change Leadership. When not working, Blair and his wife Sarah can be found exploring creativity concepts in the great outdoors with their three children. |

Chris Grivas

As co-author of The Innovative Team, Chris has brought the FourSight theory to life in a lively business fable. As a keynote speaker and trainer, he brings it to life for teams and organizations.
Chris’s background in organizational and leadership development consulting helps him focus on increasing the creative capacity of individuals, teams, and organizations. His clients have included Ernst & Young, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, and New York University, among others. He holds a Masters Degree in Creativity from the International Center for Studies in Creativity in Buffalo, New York. His book "The Innovative Team" offers new tools for creative problem solving for teams and team leaders — or anyone who wants to kick-start innovation in their workplace or their lives.

Kelly Roberts

As Director of Customer Service, Kelly strives to make sure you get the most out of your FourSight experience.
Her degree in psychology was an excellent basis for starting her own accounting and business services company. That experience, along with her primary role as food purchaser and chauffer to two teenagers, have given her excellent skills in multi-tasking, problem solving and patience. Kelly loves working at FourSight, where she is just as likely to be speaking to a high level facilitator in Korea, a graduate student in Georgia or a business executive from the UK. Along with the teens, Kelly and her husband live in Evanston.

Russ Schoen

Russ Schoen is Director of Innovation at Foursight where he creates products and communications that help make deliberate creativity easy to get, easy to understand, and easy to train and facilitate.
Russ has worked as a facilitator and trainer in the areas of deliberate creativity, innovation and change leadership for more than 14 years and has delivered training programs worldwide including programs in Singapore, Italy, Australia, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa and the US.
A sampling of clients include T. Rowe Price, International Flavor & Fragrances, Kraft, Coca-Cola, TAP Pharmaceuticals, SC Johnson, Philips Electronics, Praxair, Discover, Kimberly-Clark, Zimmer and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Russ’s practical field experience is backed up by his academic credentials. He holds a MS. in Creativity from SUNY college at Buffalo and is an adjunct faculty at the Center for Studies in Creativity where he has taught graduate courses in facilitating creative process since 2007. When not working, Russ spends his free time in Chicago improvising, learning Italian and practicing aikido. |

Kelly Kurschner

Kelly is the business development and program manager at FourSight, LLC. Kelly’s job aligns with her FourSight profile. She clarifies issues, works with the Ideators of the group, then implements solutions.
Kelly brings a broad business background to FourSight after working for companies like IBM, Accenture and JP Morgan. She finds that working with a smaller company incredibly rewarding with the speed in which changes can be implemented and results can be seen. Kelly’s favorite FourSight product is Your Team Report and the impact it can have on teams in the workplace, school projects or community boards.
